A True Love Story Never Ends

Happy February! January was great and I can't wait to conquer this month. I've got a lot to do and I feel it's going to be a good one :) I also want to thank Brittany for these way fun pictures. She brought me to this location and I just love the bright colors!

Valentine's Day is approaching next weekend. I wouldn't say I go all out for the holiday, but I do enjoy it. I love pink, I love watching cheesy chick flicks, and I'm definitely not opposed to chocolate. Even when I was single I loved hanging out with my girlfriends and doing all of those things. I'm also no expert in love, but I do like my sweatshirt and I know what my true love story is.

My true love story...

is about a girl from North Carolina and a handsome boy from Idaho.

and I believe

true love is all about WE.

I think true love is sacrifice.

I think true love has to have happiness.

I think with true love you see through faults.

In true love you feel lucky to be with that person.

With true love you bring out the best in each other,

and with true love the words 'I love you' are the best words ever.

Update // Staying Warm

These weeks have seriously been flying by so fast. I can't believe that it is already the middle of January and the last time I posted was the end of December...sheesh. I wanted to give a little update on life recently and basically what has been going on :)

-Dallin and I are both back in school. Last semester! Woo!!

-I've challenged myself and I'm taking a yoga class. My first one! I love it so far.

-I got the Wii for Christmas...no not the U. The old one. Which I'm perfectly happy with and I love it so much. Mario Kart is a weakness for me. 

-I've been making a lot of healthy things recently. To list some; homemade almond milk, granola, black bean and sweet potato enchiladas, and yummy soups...etc! I'm addicted!

-We've been going to the gym and I'm starting a 12 week work out plan, along with some other friends.

-I'm watching The Bachelor for the first time. I've seen a few episodes here and there, but this time I'm joining the crowd and watching it from the beginning.

-I cut my hair! 5 inches :)

- Dallin's sister comes home from her mission in less than a month!

-We still have our Christmas tree up...oops.

It's been pretty cold everywhere it seems like so stay warm with Aeropostale!!

Fall Days

It's Friday!! Wooo!! I love Fall days. The cool crisp air, but you can still feel the warmth of the sun. I actually wore this outfit a couple weeks ago for a shopping date with my friend who came to visit me from NC. When it got a little warm I just slipped the cardigan off and wa-lah! 

I'm also in love with this flower crown. It is from Bethany Mota's collection at Aeropostale and it's now my favorite one that I own. The color is perfect especially for Fall! I may just wear it this weekend :)

I'm ready for the weekend again. I really just want everyday to be the weekend. My weekends lately have been consisting of laid back outfits. Like this one :)

PEACE & LOVE

I hope everyone had a great Easter! We laid pretty low this Easter. It was just the two of us, but we ended up still making a big Easter dinner with the foods we grew up eating. It was delicious! Now back to the Monday grind.

Today I'm wearing a piece from Bethany Mota's new line at Aeropostale. She has some of the cutest pieces right now and I just love this peace heart sweater. A sweater for warm weather?? (yes I meant to rhyme!) It is actually really lightweight and the material is thin. I didn't get hot in this at all. I just went for a simple look, but added a side braid to spice it up just a bit! Spring Sandals

We southern girls always have out toes painted. At least that's what my mom would always tell me. So anytime I have sandals or flip flops on, I ALWAYS have my toes painted :)

I actually don't even like shoes. I would go barefoot everywhere if I could. It's how I grew up. Living at the beach we always went without shoes. When I life-guarded, we always went without shoes. Sure you show up in your rainbows(flip flops), but then you ditch them as soon as you hit the sand. Some people think I'm crazy when I walk around barefoot on the burning hot sand or the hot pavement. 

However, being that I'm not at the beach anymore; I need sandals. Sandals are something that we all need in every single color ;) Yess??? There are so many great picks at Aeropostale right now. Most of them are on sale! They also have a huge selection of Spring attire. Go stock up now!
