Fall Eyes with Maybelline

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone.

#FalsiesPushUpDrama #CollectiveBias

I love Fall colors, whether it's for clothes, decoration, or makeup. The browns, the beiges, I love it all! In the Summer I take it easy on the makeup, I usually go for a more natural look. I'll maybe put on a little mascara, but other than that I keep it simple. However, when Fall rolls around I like to kick it up a notch and go more dramatic with my eyes, mostly my eyelashes. I wanted to share a little 3 step tutorial on how to achieve a Fall look for your eyes. I found this Maybelline Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara from Walmart that really amps up my eyelashes, as well as some other Maybelline products that help me get a Fall eye.

I started off with an eyeshadow compact. This one is called Chai Latte. The perfect brown and natural colors for the Fall.

For my eyes I didn't follow the numbers that were already on the eyeshadow, but above I have them in the order that I put them on. #1 I put on my lid. #2 I put all over my crease and under my brow, so basically everywhere except my lid. #3 I put on the outer angle on my eye, smudging it into the crease as well. Kind of like I was doing a smokey eye. #4 I lightly put over my lid to add a little copper shimmer.

For the second step I tackled my brows. I've only used one other brow filler before, but I have now found a new favorite. This is Maybelline's Brow Define & Duo that has two steps to it. You first use the pencil side to outline and fill in your eyebrows, then on the other side it finishes up your eyebrow with more of a matte look. I'm hooked!

The last step is applying the mascara.I know a lot of girls who get eyelash extensions that gives them a more dramatic look. I've never tried them before, mostly because I already have naturally, long eyelashes, but the money for upkeep has never been for me. This mascara is amazing! It really made such a difference and has that look that I'm wearing false eyelashes. It adds a lot of volume to my lashes and it's the world's first patented push-up brush has cup-shaped bristles which scoop lashes up from the roots, coating and lifting them up into a dramatic 45 degrees! So if you're wanting a a false eyelash look, I would give this a try for sure!

This was really simple to do and I'm in love with the colors of the eyeshadow and also how the mascara makes my eyelashes pop! Definitely going back to Walmart to get more!

Summer to Fall Romper

You know those days when you wake up and it's chilly and you're all about those boots, pumpkin spice, cardigans, sweaters, pumpkin spice (I've seen more pumpkin spice things this year than in my whole life!) anyways...then in the middle of the day you could be wearing your bathing suit....then that evening you need your Winter jacket. Well where I live we definitely get those days when Fall is trying to make it's entrance, but then Summer gets jealous and has to come back into the picture.

So I thought why not wear your Summer romper with some Fall touches. Add some ankle boots, a hat, and wallah! When it gets hot you can ditch the sweater :) I am super excited that it is officially Fall. My favorite holidays are in these next couple of months and it's my favorite type of clothing as well!

Also don't mind my scraped up knees. I got in a fight with the sand.

Pink & Floral

Happy Fall by the way! Time for some pumpkin carving, caramel apples, and lots of hot chocolate and soup! The feelings of Fall just make me so happy. My favorite Fall days are the ones where it's that crisp feeling in the air, I've got my favorite Fall candle burning, and I'm bundled up with a sweatshirt. ahhhh

I thought I would share some more pictures of this gorgeous dress from Groopdealz. I absolutely love it! I think it makes a good transition dress into Fall. It's very comfortable!

Have a good day! Be nice to people!

Favorite Fall Accessories

Ok this weather is definitely teasing me. Last week it was basically Fall and now this week it's back to Summer temperatures. I've already pulled out my boots don't worry!

To me, sometimes it's the accessories you wear that make the outfit. For instance, adding a hat or a scarf can make a huge difference! I wanted to share some of my favorite accessories that I'm loving right now!

Right now I've been into simple, gold studs for my ears. I use to always wear dangly earrings, but they just got to be too much. So honestly gold studs is my go to now and the gold color is great for Fall!

Earrings- FreshTrends

I love this bag! First off, it's brown and it's leather. Second I love the thought of carrying a cute book bag around. Changing it up from your regular purse.

I lahhh lahhh lahhhhve hats in the Fall. Such a great accessory to add to an outfit. This hat I love especially because of the olive green color. I think one reason why I love Fall clothing so much is the colors!

How about this scarf?! Looks so comfortable and again love the colors! :)

Scarf- Madewell

Sometimes wearing gloves are annoying to me because I feel like my hands are claustrophobic, but these are my favorite kind. The ones where I can give my fingers a breather. Plus the fox on the gloves make these even better!

What are your favorite Fall accessories??

Strong Lash Review with PROMO code

Hey everyone! It's me Jessica. In case you forgot.

I've got a fun review for y'all today! For the past 30 days I've been using Strong Lash. An eyelash serum to help grow your lashes, making them longer and fuller. I've never had eyelash extensions before, mainly because I don't think I need them. I'm lucky enough that I have always had long eyelashes. Strong Lash, however, helps eyelashes become more full and more healthy!

A huge plus is how inexpensive it is. Again, I've never had eyelash extensions before, but I'm sure they can add up in price over time if you continually get them. Strong Lash makes is affordable. I used it for 30 days and I still have more left to keep going. One tube can last 2-3 months.

These are my results. I don't think it really helped them grow too much longer yet, but definitely fuller. Gotta keep using it! I love putting my mascara on now! I'm usually doing 10 swipes per eye, but now I've cut back...I'm not the only one right?

Top: Before
Bottom: After

For best results apply twice a day. It's honestly so easy to do. You just use the little brush applicator and swipe it over your upper and lower lashes. Easy peasy. I'm going to keep using it and compare my pictures in another month. If it doesn't work, money back guaranteed!

If you use code Jessica30 you will get 30% off your purchase! Do it! You won't regret it.

I took this picture at the end of my 30 days. I was headed to the beach :) I do have mascara on, but for me it's a big difference.

Day to Night Beach Waves by John Frieda®

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone.
#MyBeachBlonde #CollectiveBias

Summer is here and in full swing! Lots of sunny days, hanging out with friends and family, and days at the pool or beach. I'm living back at the beach now, which is where I'm originally from and I'm loving it. I'm definitely a beach girl over a mountain girl. We've already been spending most of our Summer days at the beach here.

I feel like in the Summer the days are always so packed with things to do. Wake up then go to the beach/pool and then for me it's usually go out to eat at a restaurant then go hang out with friends. That transition from being gone all day to, well...being gone even more can be tough when you want to freshen up and get ready. I've got just the stuff to help. I went to my local Walmart and got the John Frieda® Beach Blonde™ Sea Waves™ Sea Salt SprayBeach Blonde™ Cool Dip™ Shampoo, and the Beach Blonde™ Smooth Seas™ Conditioner.

All of the products work really well. The shampoo and conditioner have a nice, fresh minty smell! They're definitely great for helping to prep my hair for a beachy look. I really like the conditioner because it actually gets tangles out of my hair! Have you ever gotten a conditioner that doesn't do its job?? I sure have. The best product is the Beach Blonde™ Sea Waves™ Sea Salt Spray. I know it says blonde, but it's great for all hair colors and hair styles. Infused with sea salt it went onto my hair great. It didn't have that crunchy feeling that some other sprays have and this smell is amazing! Coconut! I feel so tropical wearing it. Honestly the smells alone sold me. I definitely made sure to spray it all throughout my hair to get it evenly textured.

I have some steps here on how I do a little day to night look. It's pretty simple and I'm sure you can come up with more elaborate hair styles, but I like simple. It's nice to have it in a braid during the day, especially at the beach and then it's able to really add more of those waves.

Let me know what you think?? Are these products you would be interested in? Check them out here!

Be sure to check out John Frieda® on Youtube and Facebook!

I've got Floral on my Mind

Hello daylight savings. Such a bittersweet welcoming. No thanks for making me lose a hour of sleep, but I do appreciate the sun staying out longer. And yes, I am dreaming of flowers. Spring is almost here! This week is going to be so nice here as well! Going up into the 60s. Hallelujah! A little update...

Lately...

-I've been crammed with homework and studying every single day. Seriously doing homework all of the time.

-I've been pretty sick. Better now, but it was quite miserable.

-Craving anything sweet.

-Started watching House of Cards. Kevin Spacey is incredible.

-I've been going crazy trying to sell all of our furniture for the big move in May.

-I haven't been wearing any makeup to school and it has been so refreshing.

-Waking up has been so difficult. All I want to do is sleep!

-I've been obsessed with coconut flavored things.

-I've really been missing teaching Zumba.
