Bermuda Summer-pt 2

I can't believe that it is almost September! I love these upcoming months, but I know I'm going to miss Summer once January hits. Yay for pumpkins and sweaters!

I posted my part one of wearing Bermuda shorts for the Summer and here is my part two. This is a casual day look that is comfortable and cute. Pineapples have been pretty popular recently and I joined the crowd getting this shirt from Oasap. They have a variety of pineapple attire that make for great Summer tees.

Bermuda Summer-pt 1

We are getting down to the end of Summer, sadly enough, so I'm going to try and soak in as much as I can. I am very ready for Fall, but I know once the snow hits I'm going to be wishing for Summer. I need to take advantage of the warmth while I can! 

We are going to Texas this week and I will get some beach time :) I wanted to share some of the outfits I'll be wearing while in Texas. I'm big into Bermuda shorts. They're fun and I love the way they look! This week I will share 3 different outfits with the same pair of shorts. Just some different ways to wear them!

This first outfit is very beachy. The kimono is from Oasap and it definitely compliments Summer. It's a great outfit to wear to the beach as a cover up or to wear during an outside cook out.

Guys! I'm really so excited that the sun has been out just about everyday here! I love the Summer and I'm ready to do my list of activities that I have planned! We're are definitely going to be hitting up the water park a lot this Summer (it's no beach, but it will do). I want to do a lot of hiking as well, especially to water falls! We will hopefully get a few chances to play some tennis. Going to hit up as many farmers markets and festivals that we can. :) Yay for Summer!

White for Summer

This past weekend my work had a booth at a carnival so I got to man that. After the booth we met up with our friends Lauren, Ariel, Connor, and Kevin for some rides and food. Dallin and I wimped out after a few rides...haha we aren't young like we use to be and obviously can't handle spin rides anymore.

Don't mind me blending into the side walk ;) White is a perfect color for Summer! It is such a light and free color and this outfit makes me want to go to an outdoor concert. I'm hoping to get to some this Summer. Sheinside has a great selection of dresses for this Summer, no matter what the activities are!

SUNFLOWERS make me SMILE

Man, these past three weeks have been crazy! A last minute flight to North Carolina. Then a weekend trip to Denver so Dallin could take the MCAT! I seriously cannot believe all the late night studying and 5 hour tests every Saturday are over. Haha thank goodness ;) Denver was fun. I've never been there, but we took advantage of exploring downtown and going to the Denver Zoo. Weekend getaways are always nice.

 I love me a simple outfit :) An outfit that I feel comfortable in, an outfit I could wear everyday. This outfit is one of those! It's simple, but the sunflowers pop. Sunflowers just make me happy. They're bright and to me they speak Summer.

Simple Summer Dress

Hello!! I've been a little MIA these past few days. My grandma back in North Carolina hasn't been doing too well and last week I got a call from my dad saying I should go ahead and fly out now because things weren't looking too good. So the next day I got on a flight and headed back East. It has been so nice to be back with my family again and to also spend more time with my grandma. She's doing alright, there are bad days and there are ok days. She lives right on the water so I've also been able to work on my tan and go paddle boarding every single day! Good grief do I miss the ocean. I'll be back for good soon :)

This dress is from Oasap! I love their selection of dresses. Most of them are perfect for Summer. My look is more geared to a Summer evening. Sometimes Summer nights can be a little chilly so a light cardigan should do the trick! It's not too dressy, but also not too casual :)

Pink Headwrap

 Sorry I've been MIA! Things were a little hectic this week and I took a little break. But today I'm back with this pink headwrap from  Forever 21. I've had it for a while now and I finally decided to wear it with an outfit to show on my blog. I love them! Forever 21 has so many to choose from as well. I love wearing my hair down, but a lot of times I end up pulling it back because it will start to annoy me so bad  when it's all in my face. This headwrap is perfect for that. I can still wear my hair down, but it's not flying everywhere.

I also like how this outfit is light. The color is very neutral and the feel of the shirt is so airy (make sense?). I love it. I've been so excited about wearing Spring/Summer clothes. Do you have any favorite styles right now??

Summer Dress and Vacations

I'm so ready for a vacation! I want to be out in the Sun all day long with my toes in the sand. (sighhhh)

In August we will be going to an area in Texas that is by the beach, but I don't think I can wait until then!

I also want to be shoving my face into an ice cream cone the size of that one behind me :) Maybe 

this weekend I'll go grab a bucket of dirt to bring with me to the park and close my eyes and pretend

it's warm, white sand. We may vacation sooner than later, we'll see :)

I love nautical looks in the Summer! I like to pretend I'm going to be going out on a yacht for the

day. I can tell there is going to be lots of  pretending this Summer. Oasap has the perfect dress for
