I've got Floral on my Mind

Hello daylight savings. Such a bittersweet welcoming. No thanks for making me lose a hour of sleep, but I do appreciate the sun staying out longer. And yes, I am dreaming of flowers. Spring is almost here! This week is going to be so nice here as well! Going up into the 60s. Hallelujah! A little update...

Lately...

-I've been crammed with homework and studying every single day. Seriously doing homework all of the time.

-I've been pretty sick. Better now, but it was quite miserable.

-Craving anything sweet.

-Started watching House of Cards. Kevin Spacey is incredible.

-I've been going crazy trying to sell all of our furniture for the big move in May.

-I haven't been wearing any makeup to school and it has been so refreshing.

-Waking up has been so difficult. All I want to do is sleep!

-I've been obsessed with coconut flavored things.

-I've really been missing teaching Zumba.

More Karma Less Drama

Happy Monday! Today I want to talk about something a little more serious and that is

bullying. Bullying has been going on for years and years, but it's something that seems to be

getting worse. Bullying can be a little whisper of gossip, but it can go to greater lengths such as abuse.

My two brothers and I have all dealt with bullying growing up. Both of my brothers were teased and

bullied in middle school. I was also bullied in middle school. I was at a sleepover and these girls who I thought were my friends all seemed to gang up on me and were making fun of me for a secret notebook that one friend and I wrote back and forth to each other. They were reading everything out loud and just being so mean and making fun of what I was saying. I remember going home and I cried and cried. Girls are mean. Especially in middle school. Bullying is something very serious 

in today's society and needs to be stopped.

Pink Headwrap

 Sorry I've been MIA! Things were a little hectic this week and I took a little break. But today I'm back with this pink headwrap from  Forever 21. I've had it for a while now and I finally decided to wear it with an outfit to show on my blog. I love them! Forever 21 has so many to choose from as well. I love wearing my hair down, but a lot of times I end up pulling it back because it will start to annoy me so bad  when it's all in my face. This headwrap is perfect for that. I can still wear my hair down, but it's not flying everywhere.

I also like how this outfit is light. The color is very neutral and the feel of the shirt is so airy (make sense?). I love it. I've been so excited about wearing Spring/Summer clothes. Do you have any favorite styles right now??

Spring Casual with Aeropostale

I'm ready for the weekend again. I really just want everyday to be the weekend. My weekends lately have been consisting of laid back outfits. Like this one :)

Floral Kimono

Hope you guys had a fantastic weekend! I did :) Friday night we went and had a bonfire with some family. The weather has been so nice here and it was so beautiful that evening. Last week I got a bike! It's a pink beach cruiser and it's perfect! I found it on craigslist for a crazy good deal and I've been riding it everywhere now. Seriously such a good find, no damage at all to it and not any wear and tear :)

H&M is killing it right now with deals and cute clothes. Basically this whole outfit is from there. They have been having some really good sales, but what makes those sales even better is this H&M coupon code that saves you saves you up to 70% off on sale items. Boots in the Spring

How do you feel about boots in the Springtime? Personally I like them a lot. Now I'm not talking knee high boots with fur around them, but simple ankle boots. I found these at H&M and I love them. They are comfortable and go with everything. It is almost like bringing in a little Fall to Spring. I love it and think it's cute!!

Music Festival Look with ShopSosie

Spring and Summer is the perfect time to go to a musical festival. Going somewhere to hear a wide variety of music and different artists... ahhh :) I've never been to a big music festival before, but I love going to local gigs. For my festival look, I went for more whimsical. There are definitely so many styles to go for, but this was more relaxed to me. Sosie has all of those styles!

PEACE & LOVE

I hope everyone had a great Easter! We laid pretty low this Easter. It was just the two of us, but we ended up still making a big Easter dinner with the foods we grew up eating. It was delicious! Now back to the Monday grind.

Today I'm wearing a piece from Bethany Mota's new line at Aeropostale. She has some of the cutest pieces right now and I just love this peace heart sweater. A sweater for warm weather?? (yes I meant to rhyme!) It is actually really lightweight and the material is thin. I didn't get hot in this at all. I just went for a simple look, but added a side braid to spice it up just a bit!
