Many of you know that I've been living away from my family out here in Utah for almost 3 years. I miss my mom so much all of the time! Well I miss my whole family, but we have always been so close that it makes it really hard to be away from her. I wanted to send her a little something extra to remind her how much she means to me and how I'm EXTRA thankful for her! I implied that with some Extra Gum. A fun way to tell my mom that she is extra important to me.
Moms need an extra thanks all of the time. They do so much for us that we don't even realize. My mom has definitely done so much for me. Growing up if I ever needed anything she was right there. She's the mom who was always right and always knew what was best for me. Yes mom, I admit it...I should have listened to you more :) But really. She is just the greatest. She is so selfless and is always putting others before her. My mom is so fun to hang out with and we can talk for hours. All of these things and more is why I wanted to give her an extra thanks!
I'm the kind of person who gets more excited to give gifts rather than receiving them. I got together some of her little favorite things! Such as some make up items, dark chocolate covered cherries, good smelling soap, and a scarf! Then of course a little Extra treat of gum! Does anyone else find putting together a package as fun as I do?!
