Summer is just beginning, which for me means a lot of outside time in the sun. I recently went to my home in North Carolina to visit my grandma who lives right on the water! Literally 20 feet from her back door! I knew I was going to be getting into the water, so I made sure that my smooth legs were ready to be out for everyone to see.
I have a few products that I used to get my legs ready for Summer. I purchased them at Target and everything was all right together, which made my shopping so convenient. Here are my tips for Summer ready legs!
#1-Smooth. Using the Schick Hydro Silk Sensitive razor and the Skintimate Sensitive Shave Gel, I gave myself the best shave! There's nothing better than knowing you have nice, smooth legs during beach season. It was such a close shave and it didn't even burn when I got into the water!
#2-Color. I put some color onto my toes! I believe having painted toes makes a huge difference! Especially in the Summer when you can use a lot of bright colors and designs to show a "beachy" look. Sally Hansen has a huge variety of colors styles. I went with a bright pink and a glittery, and shimmer polish to go over top.
#3-Protection. You can't forget protection! I know I just want to be in the sun all day and I want to get tan, but protecting the skin is key! I love all of these brands, but I would have to say my favorite is the Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration sunscreen. It's a SPF 30 so I can still work on my tan, but it also has up to 12 hours of protection and it feels so good. None of these dry up your skin like other sunscreens.
