Key Lime Pie

"My mother didn't really cook. But she did make key lime pie, until the day the top of the evaporated milk container accidentally ended up in the pie and she decided cooking took too much concentration." -William Norwich
Hey they even have key lime pie jokes! I love a good key lime pie. Only sometimes it can be a little too tart for me. I like to have some balance with my key lime pie. So if you haven't already noticed I don't have a nice camera to take pretty pictures of my food, but I try!. So don't mind the lack of focus and the horrible lighting. Hey, it's the recipe that counts!

Ingredients

-9 inch pie crust
-3 cups sweetened condensed milk
-1/2 cup sour cream
-3/4 cup key lime juice
-1 lime (juice and garnish)

1. Preheat oven to 350°

2. Mix condensed milk, sour cream, and key lime juice.

3. Squeeze half a lime in the bowl and mix.

4. (Usually with a key lime pie you
would use a graham cracker crust, but I actually like
to use Marie Callender's pastry pie shells). So I put the
pie crust without the filling into the oven for about 7 mins.

5. Pour filling into pie crust and place into the oven for
about 5 ish mins??

6. Take out and directly put into refrigerator and keep
in there for a hour.

7. Garnish as you please!!!
